How boring could your life be if you need to fish for responses on internet forums for entertainment. The mind boggles!

Willem,
I plead guilty to posting to a CRAP thread a few days ago (the one about poofters' cars). But I strongly agree with your original post. I am a member of another forum which does have useful content but its like listeng to the UHF CB in Sydney all day - there might be some pearls but there is so much CRAP that you'd probably miss them. I think that recycled internet jokes, irrelevant political comment, and social chit chat can bugger up an excellent technical forum.

Geeze Bob I gotta agree with you, if the chatter turns you on then go for it, but I do like how in other forums you can just select the different sections and cut to the chase.
