Kataraptko Creek out of Berri could be ok. At least should be clear of Ski boats and Jet Skis

There are so many camps along the Murray; unfortunately everyone's idea of a 'good' camp varies greatly so what some say may be 'good' for them doesn't really fit your idea of 'good'. We rely on a couple of budget/free camp books, the best we've found is Paul Smedley's Budget Rest Areas available from RAC. When we head off along the Murray we check the camping areas as we go, when we find a camp that suits us we stop.

Hi Nick

I would look around the Berri / Renmark area. There are dozens of great out of the way places in that area where you can be by yourself.

Keep away from the more popular places, not unless you do not mind the peace shattered by speedboat from sunrise to sundown. The Riverland area will not see as many people as compared to the Murraylands area where it it a lot closer to Adelaide.

In South Australia, the Riverland I classed as from Morgan to the state border, where as the Murraylands in classed as from Morgan and down to the sea.

Cheers
