Went there in 2015, Romer, and had a good time. It was COLD at night!

Unfortunately won't be able to make it this year.

Track Trailer campsite last year would have been the dustiest camp of the lot. After seeing how dusty all their camps were, I'd be joining the "Hoi polloi" out to the east. :-)

Maybe they'll move it up to the north a bit?

Have fun,
Bob

We hope to be catching up with friends at Boulia and have been thinking of heading there by the Hay River Track.
Something different.

Coming from the West you could get there a few ways.
You could do The Great Central Road or through Telfer and onto the Gary Junction Rd.
You have too many choices.
We're planning now because time flies. February already, so July will only be a little while.

Have fun.

Hi RomerL,
We are heading up to it from Tasmania, via Adelaide and the Birdsville Track, haven't
set dates in concrete yet, but we are going to get there a couple of days early or so, we have volunteered to help the organisers and need to be there for a training session on the 30 June I think. Cheers, Kanga.

Along with the races, it is the best time to be as far as possible from Birdsville.

Way too many sheep in town.
