Broken Hill

Imposing tailings heaps form the backdrop to this outback mining town (Ag, Pb, Zn) dating from 1883. Broken Hill is a thriving community on the edge of the NSW Outback. With a population of over 20,

we just just over 13 mm and I have not checked the road signs but I am sure they are closing down the dirt roads

So if you are planning a trip up this way in the next week or so best check out road conditions before you leave home

3m in the day time and later some more I have a wireless weather station in the back yard which records hourly and 24 hour and monthly rain fall

but sadly it was not enough to break the drought we need what we got last time a huge amount in one day
