Thinking of purchasing one of the above, 75- 80 litre with two opening lids. Just asking if anyone has one and what do they think of it ?

It appears that you can switch of one side if not required saving power, but gives great versatility. I see that national lunar fridges have a similar product but it is too expensive for me.

Hi Tim
We have the 75l glacier (two lidded) and think it's great. We use one side (small one) as a freezer and the other for fruit and veggies. We also have a 85l Natl Luna in the camper for everything else.

Not sure about the Glacier but I have an Evakool fridgemate 70L and its awesome on my boat.
Handles the rough weather, better on power than the Waeco and very simple-bought it 2nd hand and it is very robust.

I have the 75 litre and find it very efficient. I have it in my on site caravan running off a battery and solar panel. It is super quick to freeze down and draws very little power even at -18 degrees in the freezer section.

I have just purchased the 75L Evacool Glacier (2 door) for my Gibb River trip in May.
Good price, has versatility and looks impressive.
Here's for hoping it goes well, and for a long time after that! Like my Engel.
