April the 1st (why does that date sound familiar?) will be the opening for an art exhibition comprised of 15 tonnes of LED lights powered by solar.
ABC news item here.
It will remain in place for a full year.

Would be interesting to see I guess, but I do have mixed feelings about it. In part I feel that Uluru is so spectacular in it's own right that anything 'extra' almost feels a little 'tacky'. I also wonder how wildlife will cope with the myriad of wires etc across the ground.

G'day Cuppa
I agree. I'd even stick my neck right out and wonder why it has to have an indigenous title.
It would also be interesting to know how the project is financed.
Cheers
John
