HIYA whats best way of finding out where to camp I only have tent not need powered sites Like..maps so not driving around getting frustrated looking for somewhere to sleep the night..Any good things out there ..thanks

Thanks Baz .Like ya profile picture.I used to drive those utes in Cooper Basin .We got airborn but not that high ha ha ha.I rolled one in the spectacular Blue Hills near Durham Downs Qld.Just checked on google the if the right place and it came up with a record of the oil exploration I did,good memories...The leaf springs were bent the other way and the steering atrocious.Had the petrol tank under seat .My company then bought new Diesel models after that.Will get that wikicamps...then have happy wife...cheers

Stephen, do want I did this afternoon, looked for a flat bit of country, not to covered with grass, with a bit of shade and stopped. Set up camp and will leave in the morning. I remember reading that you do not like to many others around you. I have listened to others saying place was good, then when getting there it was not to my taste, and that place they hated to stop at was great for me.

Thats it! I havent been anywhere since 2002 and getting long in the tooth or soft maybe in the brain.I used just sleep on roof of car or if raining just ontop of all my crap in back of Landcruiser.Now I got wife and son want them to be happy or that might catch a bus home ha ha ha ...
