I have been beavering away since the weekend and have finally got my map mounted. I thought it would be nice in the lounge room above the fire but Jen said it should go in the study - guess where it is hahahaha. I want to invite my friends around to show them so welcome to my study!! hahaha

Have had fun drawing on it but have not put our central aussie trip on it yet. This map is the big laminated aussie one that I bought through the exploroz shop. Thanks to Michelle for ordering it in!! I made the frame out of picture frame stuff that I bought from Bunnings and mounted it on a board with silicon that I spread out with a paint scraper!

Yes I have been a busy beaver - the erection was difficult as it is pretty large but now it is standing proudly for all to see

Andrew that bit of wall looks like it was made for it.
Or did you spend all the time re-modelling the house.

Andrew,
Pesty reckons he's getting one and I've just ordered one myself about 2 minutes ago......should make a good birthday pressy for Annette. I'll now have til November to get the frame made and painted and a backing board done up. Could be a bit hard to hide it for that long though.
Cheers,

Now Now Willem,
It's not nice to pick on those who are less fortunate than ourselves in the "good looks" department. However, it's funny how all us Nissan drivers are real handsome bruts and those tojo wallies are all as ugly as a hatful of a***holes, eh??? LOLOL

Roachie you are so unkind to people sometimes. It's the kind of response I'd expect from a bank manager who is trying to foreclose on me.

Is item 719.
It is the laminated one
Map

I used a white board marker so that I can rub it out if I need too. Works well on the laminated one I have already found when you draw on the wrong spot!

.....I was gunna say that there is this large soft area at the top of my legs with a crack down the middle that I sit on.

Isn't it wonderful how someone can use a term and it sort of becomes part of the vocabulary

It's a bit daunting looking up at Alice Springs and how far away that is only to realise that it is only half way to WA.

It is a bit daunting when you look at what we haven't done. Don't worry, I will do another post when it is all 'colored!' No color yet in WA or Tassie - Kimberley's next year and Tassie - who knows!
