Kristine,
I will see you there.
I have just spent the week at Nag Nanny with Teena and her mob of ever increasing horses.
Had a few hours in the saddle so starting to look forward to heading south for the trek.
I saw Janice on Wednesday and she said that there is 9 of us going, she is also tagging along so will see how well she rides :)

Cheers Kev

Hi Kev, good luck with the ride, fantastic idea. Would love to hear more about the ride itinerary and your horse. How long have you been riding for?

Cheers,

Simon

Simon,

I have been riding since I was a kid. Although once I joined the Army I haven't ridden until approx. 2 years ago.

Looks like it will be a great trip with more details to follow after the trek is complete.

The horse in the photo is Magic who is owned by Teena the owner/operator of Nag Nanny/Equine Resolutions located near Canungra. She is approx. 7 years old and has a very good nature. I have just spent the past 9 days at Nag Nanny and had some more time in the saddle with some other horses. I did though get to have a bareback moment with Magic.

Thanks for your support of this worthy cause :)

Cheers Kev

A few more details of the trek -

There are half day and full day treks, which includes trekking to the Currango Homestead and Blue Water Holes. Participants will enjoy a spectacular variety of mountain scenery, including mountain tops and the majestic high plains, brumbies in the wild, limestone gorges, aboriginal sites, mountain stockman’s huts and historical heritage sites.
