I currently own an '84 LN65 single cab hilux. I really need the extra seating capacity of a dual cab. Before I got through the hassle of changing vehicles, I was wondering if anyone had any experience swapping the actual cabs over (single to dual). I have got most of the problems with the current vehicle fixed and am happy with the reliablity.
Other option I guess is to switch the drivetrains over.
Any thoughts on the availabitly of donor vehicles and the compatability of other model hiluxes (newer and older).
Thanks
Greg

Greg,
Have a mate whose done it different ways, all in all he found a cut and shut the cheapest.
But honestly, with all of the work you have to do and expense, I would just flog it off and buy what you want...You don't want to over capitalise on the truck.
Cheers mate,
Trol.
