Well, I did say there was a few local successful gold miners keeping Leinster going - and I'll still wager the
population is only around a third of its
population peak of 700.
It is good to hear that the town is still kicking, though, in this era of minings constant major closures, layoffs, and extreme cost-cutting.
Re the Agnew pub, I was sure it was still going when I went through last year.
If it is actually shut, you'd better notify the
Leonora Shire about updating their website (who still list the pub as being refurbished and offering all the facilities) - Yahoo News (who state it's still open in a Jan 2016 article) - and at least three dozen other sites and articles that all speak of the Agnew Hotel as a going concern in 2016.
