Can you get carbon fibre poles they should prove more flexible and lighter, I use carbon fibre paddles for canoeing
It is only when you see mosquito land on your testicles that you find another way to solve problems without violence

If you are talking about the "Bow " poles for a Dome Swag I obtained some fibre glass ones of a similar diameter from a mobility scooter shop , they sell them as safety flag sticks for scooters and wheel chairs etc.
You might also get them from a bike shop, they have them for kids bikes.
You will have to cut them to the required lengths and glue some tubing on the ends.

Most up market lightweight tents for back packing use Aluminium poles (they bow almost as much as Fibreglass ones). I've used mine several times over the past 5 years with no problems.
You should be able to get them at specialist camping shops

There are fiberglass poles and fiberglass poles. I had some that had all the fibers running longways. These were rubbish and had a tendency to split up the middle.

Others I got have a spiral wrap/braid around them, these seem to be a lot more robust.

Aluminium poles are good too, very light, but a bit unforgiving if they get stood on.

You can try electric fence fiberglass posts, these can be obtained from most rural supply merchandise outlets, can be bought in different lengths and are very flexible and strong.

You can buy alloy (Aircraft aluminium) ones to suit your swag. I had to replace one from a 10 year old swag and there was no OEM replacement available from the manufacturer. Went to a camping store and sized one up- hey presto! all good. and much more durable also FWIW...
