Isatphone handset messes up Iridium

There have been reports here in the distant past about side by side performance with Iridium looking poor. This may be one reason, from Wikipedia ..
INMARSAT and Iridium frequency bands abut each other at 1626.5 MHz thus each satcom radio has the ability to interfere with the other. Usually the far more powerful INMARSAT radio disrupts the Iridium radio up to 10–800 meters away.
Also note that an IsatPhone can be reached by Skype at either AUD 2.82 or c. 7 per minute. Which it is will be clarified. Much cheaper than Telstra.

Hi

Would that mean two (or more) Isatphone phones or two (or more) Iridium phones in close proximity to each other would also interfere with each other ?

Moral of the story would seem to be if using/testing/comparing sat phones stay well away from other users.

If they're on the same network presumably it can manage the traffic. But yeah Greg, anything odd happens it's always worth changing your location.
