We have one at work it's used to tow a trailer with a mini street sweeper plus heaps of tools on it, the trailer is a heavy duty car carrier, all up it weighs just over 3 tonne, and it goes just fine , the guys that use it say it's great.

I thought the legal towing limit of the Navara was 2800KG for Diesel and something like 2000KG for Petrol. Cant be legal carrying over 3T.

Hurstville city council got the vehicle from Nissan for this purpose according to Nissan it's legal, we also have a 2004 patrol 3.0 TD doing the same job. they were bought aspecially for this purpose.

Manual says 3000kgs for the TD, 2000kgs for the petrol

I tow a tripple horse float behind my twin cab 2003 model. Excellent vehicle, good power and great economy. I get 10.1lt/100Km normal driving, around 14-15 lt/100 towing.
