Hi. We may be motoring
Adelaide to

Adelaide to Alice, recently, but looking for information for the stretch Alice to
Darwin.
First draft of our trip looks like, Alice to
Tennant Creek, (Overnight)
Tennant Creek to
Katherine, (Two nights
Katherine)
Katherine to
Darwin.
Return trip.
Darwin to
Mataranka, (Overnight)
Mataranka to
Tennant Creek (Overnight)
Tennant Creek to
Alice Springs. Three people in a Camry. Can anyone give me some accommodation recommendations please?
Places of interest too. Last drove "The Diamond Highway" in 1964. guess things have changed since then. BB

.... and a couple of very worthwhile walks as
well. Short detour to the
Daly Waters Pub for refreshments and a place of interest. When at
Mataranka a visit to
Bitter Springs for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear creek is a little bit of magic.
Enjoy your trip,
regards, Mike.

Heaps to see at
Adelaide River, 3.2k's from town is Mt Bundy Station, fantastic Caravan Pk and
camp area and plenty of WW2 history. here's a couple of links put together when I was living there.
