John,

I have no specific experience with the MDC product. I have spent the better part of 5 years searching for a replacement to my soft floor CT. I was spooked my many manufacturers when I researched feedback on their service / warranty issues. I eventually landed on a Reconn by Lifestyle which looks very similar to the unit you are researching. MDC get some varied feedback but if it helps I came across a few guys on the Cape last year doing the OTT with an MDC. It wasn't the one you are seeking info on but the fellow towing it was very pleased with how it handled the rough stuff.
I will watch with interest as others respond to your post.

Because it's a direct copy of the Lifestyle, so long as they assemble it nearly as good, it should be nearly as good a product !

Price is fairly similar, and seeing as I own a Lifestyle AT10, my choice has already been made !

Hello ther I have the larger XT-17 I am really happy with mine. The family loves it. Yes they look to be a copy but if u look at all caravans you could argue they are all copies. Regarding price for what u get and built quality they are amazing. I had a fellow XT-12 owner tow his across the Simpson with only a few issue but structurally no drama. There is a face book page u can join to find out everything u need to know. And for price if u load all the gear that the XT-12 has and do the same to a lifestyle caravan all Of a sudden they are not that close. I did my homework on the above.
In the end I am very happy and would buy another one. Usually these threads go south very quickly so buckle up this could get bumpy. ??

Why these threads go south is all about Aussie versus Chinese made.

Why they are an exact copy has been done to death, but if you are happy with it, no one elses opinion really matters.

As mentioned above, the Facebook page is 'MDC owner's group' - sign up and connect with all other owners.
