I was just thinking about the reradiating antennae that are availabe for hand held GPS units that don't have a capacity for a plug in external antenna - does anyone know if there is an equivalent device suitable for CDMA or for that matter GSM mobile phones?

If you look at the latest Nokia GSM phones the car kits have a reradiating/inductive style pickup that goes to the antenna. I think they are very ordinary as I have compared say the 6310 with the antenna connection on the phone and the 6100 that I have now and there appears no differance in the reception on the 6100 with the reradiating antenna. You can buy the reradiating pickup part separate from the rest of the car kit. I just picked up a 6310i and are going to go back to this once I get the car kit back in.
