does anybody have experience ,of the root hog crossing ,on the macquarie river,eg rocks, sand bottom,deep water etc thanks for future answers barry

I'm pretty sure the Root Hog track has been closed because of idiots damaging farmland and shooting cattle.

to bryan,you are right it is closed,e-mailed
bathurst tourist office,their reply was,the roads you are referring to are closed to the public,the owner of the property does not allow people to drive through anymore, looks like the idiots have stuffed things up again for the rest of us bye barry
