Morning all
Just wondering if anyone has travelled the Tanami in the last week or so. If so what was it like.
We are also thinking of going to Lake Gregory we have been told its very nice. Wondering what the roads are like in there if anyone has been on recently.

Very nice is understatement ..Its unbelievable and go for swim see what it does to your skin..I have to visit again I was there way back in 1997.I was lucky I liv3d with Aboriginal family who took me out many times and told md all the stories about the lake..And my brother who was avid birdwatcher told me which birds came from Russia I was amazed ...

Did the tanami last week. Just been graded and fine for the most part. Still a bit rough for 30k south of the granites and for the last 100k before Halls Ck despite grading. Some washaways from recent late rains. One guy with an overloaded 2wd with busted suspension.
