Last year whilst heading to Marree from Hawker SA on road B83. I noticed that you could get salted lamb direct from the farm. For the life of me do you think I can remember where it was. I marked the way point but it has gone to god. Can somebody please help me with the address or way point? Thanks Ed

We often buy saltbush lamb from the local butcher at Burra.

Saltbush lamb sausages only on Thursdays from Coopers, the butcher in Burra. If you are getting into town late Thursday, it pays to ring ahead to reserve some!
Mind you, there are cornish pasties available most days in the shop nearly opposite the butcher ??
Cheers

And very good it is also, would have to be the best lamb I have ever tasted and believe me I have eaten plenty of sheep meat over the years.
Cheers Ian

If you're in Broome try the bluebush lamb and hogget from Yeeda in Paspaley Plaza. First class meat.
