Question for Steinbauer users.

Do you use it in factory setting only, or have you adjusted the.trimpot for more juice?
Had mine for about 3years and had tweaked the setting slightly.
A bit more power but a little smoke too. I returned it to factory setting as I didn't know the long term fallout from increasing.

Hi paul had mine for 2 years on the dmax and had it "tweaked " to the 3 o'clock position all that time had no adverse effects and seemed to perform ok.

Paul the SB chip uses injection timing to alter the duration of the injectors thus creating more power or drive-ability. Unlike some other products which can pump more fuel there is no risk in the adjusting of the settings. My car was dyno tested with the SB module and I believe in my case it was already set to the highest setting, possibly by the installer Rankin Diesel. The car has done 260,000KM's and uses less fuel and creates more torque in conjunction with exhaust changes.

well I had the injectors replaced last week, which has eliminated smoke....
Was curious to know if anyone tweaks their chip.
