maralinga lately,wondering about road conditions and time to travel from

"Road" can be a statement, a question or anything.

I went to
Maralinga in April this year.
The road initially is bitumen thanks I think to Iluka and their sand
mine.
The balance of the road is unsealed but OK for 60km/hr mostly.
When you get your authority to travel it will contain estimated travel times.
Well worth the trip and fees if you have an interest in recent Australian history.

Was there two weeks ago. Road conditions good. Care needed on the gravel sections (about 100km).
