For general info Kingfisher
camp is now officially closed and the road from Kingfisher through
Bowthorn station also.

Yes they have made a lot of changes at the station and that is just one of them.

It would be a shame if it is closed. It's a great place to relax for a few days and the drive from
Lawn Hill is
well worth while.

That location has big memories for us as well... Day 62 of our 206 day trip around Australia in 1998-99 didn't go so well ...

I'll second that. So pleased we did it, very memorable. Couldn't believe it when we found hot showers morning and night and flushing toilets.
