Easy spot to get to about half way between Rockhampton & Calliope in Qld. One of our crew has his app 1926 Caterpillar 22 (formerly Holt Tractors) crawler on display. Was owned by his can farmer mate up near Ingham NQ. Plenty of interest for all the family. We are taking our 11 year old grand daughter. She insisted. Perfect autumn weather. Forget the lawn guys. It is sleeping anyway. See you all there. Magic photo opportunities there. Brian F Harris (Lofty)

Brian, that looks like a good show, but it's a little too far for me to drive to! 4699kms, says Google maps! LOL

Just to be a little pedantic - your mates Caterpillar Twenty Two (correct way to write it!) wasn't produced until 1934, and it ceased production in 1939.

They were a very popular little tractor, and although designed to run on petrol, nearly all Twenty Two's sold in Australia had the Power Kerosene option fitted, as petrol was quite expensive and fuel consumption was high on petrol, as compared to Power Kero.

Cheers, Ron.
