Gday Warren
Eighteen mths ago Borefield rd was a very
well graded hard dirt road. 80 kph or even 100kph no problem . Just a nice dirt road to drive.
Oodnadatta track is not quite as good , but ok.

We took the Borefield road in 2006 and it was just a dirt road, with some mild corrugations. It would present no problems for a dirt road van in fine weather. A week or two prior to that it had rained and someone found it impossible to make much progress on when wet.

Drove along it about a month ago, just before all the rain. Can't speak as to whether the weather has had any effect, however it was a good 90+ kmh road. Actually much better nick than the
Oodnadatta track. Used by mining, so it's maintained
well.
Tar out to
Roxby Downs.

Drove Borefield Rd & Oodna Track on May 26 & 27th 2016. All fine & dandy for what you describe as your set up.
