This has been driving me crazy in the last hour or so. How do I get rid of this distance window. It has to be a dead simple things but it is doing my head in .

Hi WBS
In a PC version place mouse pointer over scale , hold left click and drag to where it won't annoy.
In a tablet same but as for touch pad.
Hope this solves it for you.

Thank you both for your replies. My head has stopped hurting. I thought the solution would be would be simple and obvious but I could not manage to get it. I'm not sure how it appeared in the first place but who cares now!
