The Colly's got way more power than the D-Max but the Isuzu will probably outlast it.

alan m6,
Just a little on the Colorado.
Mine is a 2013 model 2.8 liter turbo auto. Now just 40,000 ks'
Tows a 16 foot original Golf with the usual gear, boat on top and all the extras.
Recent trip to Alva Beach just north of
Ayr 13.1 liters per 100ks'
at about 95 - 100 km. per h.
Coming
home used a bit more fuel because I flogged it a bit.
Tows really
well and I leave it in auto all the time.
Very pleased with my ute and I am sure the Isuzu will do the same job.
If you have look at the Susie you will find all the knobs and dials are
are identical with the Colorado and I suspect both vehicles are basically the same build.
As far as I can determine the motor is a fiat design and has been used in a considerable number of different vehicles.
The auto box is an Allison G.M. and used extensively in G.M. vehicles in The U.S.A.
Altogether
mine has proved reliable and comfortable to drive particularly with a load on.
Have fun Haji-Baba

The D-Max uses Isuzu's 3l diesel and an Aisin auto.
Note that a new model Colly has been announced. Would be worth checking out the specs.
