We are planning to travel the track next week with Prado and Kimberley Karavan from Ayton to Daintree. Assuming there is no rain I have been assured by others that this track is doable. Has anyone done it recently - towing - who can give me some up to date info. There was a lot of rain up there a week or so back so I am a little unsure. I need to be back in Cairns by a particular date so would rather plan conservatively.

No rain for a week now. Track will be no worries. Beautiful sunny skies but possible showers in the next 4 days. Wont have much impact on Bloomfield Track.

The road between Port Douglas and Cairns is closed on Sunday 12 June due to the Ironman Triathlon.

Just be aware there are some steep ascents and descents on both the Cowie and Donavan Ranges, its very doable but take it very easy.
