Adblock works with PC version of Firefox and Chrome (apparently - haven't tried it for a while....I just dont look at the adds - easy).

Blocking "comments and reviews" isn't possible and never has been AFAIK - different issue to "adds".Plan B - just dont look at them.

Cheers

No worries - do recall being able to "block" some adds (never seemed to make any difference) but never noticed the review one.

Keep in mind some revenue for the website is generated by adds (+ people then "clicking" on them) so we should avoid promoting the avoidance of them as it may come around and bite us on the butt.

I dont bother with "add blocks" anymore...dont find them that annoying.

Firefox and Adblocker Ultimate gets rid of most of them.
I really notice it when I open the forums on a mobile device though.

Your topic, do what you want!

I too miss the T2, It was getting on a bit (270k), so I sold it and started driving my dads ute after he died. It was a non turbo '98 Courier, so exhausting to drive as I think I willed it along more than the motor. It was cheap transport and had a bit of sentimental value.

I sold that just on 2 years ago and bought a new BT50 dual cab with a 1.8m tray back.

It has more poke than the Terrano, can fit a heap more on the back and with traction control and the diff locker can probably go further as well. It is a pig in town though, too bloody long and car parks can be a challenge. Steel bull bar on the front and ally tray on the back, what is the worst that can happen... to me that is?

It goes well, has better air con, electrickery, doesn't threaten to boil in summer and the seats are reasonably comfy, but I don't get that small thrill you get when you climb behind the wheel and turn the key that a car you really enjoy driving gives you and I used to get even going to work at 05.45 on Monday in the Terrano II.

Would you believe mine clicked over to 400,000kms as I was driving it down to deliver it to its new owner. I replaced it with a Disco 2 TD 5, which I loved but couldn't find anybody with any intelligence to service locally.
Currently got the last of the Prado 120s with the 1kz motor, didn't want common rail D4D, I have chipped it & got 3" exhaust, it does everything but seems bland. Terrano II really punched above its weight!
