In about a week or so we plan to travel across the
Woodstock to
Marble Bar track, from Hwy 95 heading East. Has anyone recently done this track and have up to date experience on its condition?
We are travelling with a Landcruiser 200 series and an off-road caravan (19 foot internal).
We do know conditions change rapidly but any advice will be welcome.

1999 :)
Pretty country.
I recall that the
Shaw River crossing was very wide with large pebbles, but quite shallow. We were towing a tinny.
Cheers,
Peter

Motherhen, that is useful. I have this webpage but when I looked two days ago it was sadly out of date. They do not maintain it
well......

Hi Chris
Not recent, but we did it in 2012 from
Marble Bar to GNH.
We found the road at that time good however, be aware of some of the dips. We weren't travelling fast but when we hit some of them it shook things up a bit.
Some clown had also removed all the road signs which didn't help.
Regards

Thanks Rowdy! The visitor info centre in
Newman says it is in good shape right now, so all is good! And we have the HN7 navigator if the clowns are about still!
