Hi all - 1st post - have a 2000 Nissan Navara QD32 engine preparing for trip north in about 8 weeks.
Can anyone help with the valve clearances for the QD32 engine - Toonfish maybe?
I remember you were chasing a Workshop Manual sometime back

Anyone know of source of a Workshop Manual to suit apart from Nissa $$$$? - happy to pay resonable price

Thanks for any help

i have the info at hand .
there is no manual to be had under $300 believe me even haunted a few mechanics closing shops and no luck offered to pay $100 to a guy if he would let me photo copy his but no luck.
anyway the valve clearances are done hot not running are 0.35 for both inlet and exhaust to be done every 20,000 kms
easy job simply loosen top nut out to free valve and tighten up when desired clearance is achieved with good gauges!also for timing settings (do not attempt if you are not sure and dont have the right toolstiming seetings are as follows -"with number one piston at TDC injection pump plunger should read 0.65+-0.02mm.
special tools are need to service this area!
idle speed is 750 rpm (high hey!).
all info is correct on my mech spec sheet i acquired but no responsibility taken for updates .
just ring nissan (a city one might help)
chhers fellow navvy driver
your shout hey?
