Good afternoon,
We will be visiting elderly friends in Ocean Reef north of Perth in Sept/Oct after travelling a couple of months in our camper trailer. We would like a good cv park and may opt for a cabin for a few days. Would by grateful for any suggestions of parks or other reasonably priced accommodation. Wanneroo does not look as if it fits the bill. Can't remember the caravan parks website.

The only one worth looking at North of Perth on the beach side is Karrinyup Waters Resort. Its a bit away from your friends place but the ones closer aren't much good. We haven't stayed there but it has good reports from others.

We have a similar issue if we visit our daughter, but that's more to the south of Freemantle and we end up staying well south. The caravan parks vary greatly in standard and a lot a full of permanents.

Yes totally agree.
Karrinyup waters is a nice clean park.
Only about 10min drive from ocean reef rd.
Very easy freeway access.

Many thanks C&W and Wizzer. We don't mind travelling to & fro, just want something clean and comfortable. Sounds excellent.

John 'n' Min,

We stayed in a cabin at the Burns Beach CP a bit further north than Ocean Beach but very pleasant and right opposite the beach. we were in a cabin right at the front entrance with uninterupted ocean views and it was fantastic!

We have also had some success with Air BNB as we normally fly over there to visit the Grand daughter. We found a very good one just back from Trigg Beach but not sure if it's still available.

Hi Gundarooster, Thanks for the heads up on Burns Beach, I wondered what it was like. Happy to be north of Ocean Reef.
