That is probably why it is the favourite of so many people, including myself. It can't be done for nothing and they do a good job to make your stay nice.

Yes it is very nice and clean ,great for kids ,only downside ,I guess it is in most places ,we were told to not leave anything out at night or unlocked ,we are here now and van across from us had small toolbox , cask of wine and towels off rack stolen last night and talking to neighbour another van had a lot of gear stolen from cruiser ,but unfortunately both had not checked to see if they were locked ,park management told us at check in to lock every thing and leave nothing out overnight ,so be warned .

I stay there and have had no trouble but the problem is not with the Park, but the locals. Get out of Alice and you are generally safer. That area is terrific but we don't hang around Alice Springs more than we have to. The ranges and gorges are great and you can camp around there without too many dramas.
