We have a 2012 Jayco StarCraft 19.61.2 with a Thetford 260 cassette toilet. This morning when I went to the van there was some water leaking from where the toilet housing fits to the floor. I suspect t he water it is coming from where the flushing hose fits on to the flushing mechanism. Has anyone had a similar experience and particularly if you have repaired it yourself, I would be interested in how you separate the housing from the external plastic cladding to get at where the hose fits on to the flushing attachment. I have researched other forums, goggled heaps, read the manual etc, but can't separate the housing from the external cladding to get at the fitting. Brian DJ

Hi Brian, i had a similar problem with mine. I think mine though was leaking where the cassette seal meets the toilet because the water smelt like sewarage. I put 1.5mm shims under the cassette wheels to make the seal tighter and it fixed the problem. Cant help though as to how to get at the pipe.

Thanks Peter for your information. Gary, who posted here earlier and referred me to the caravanners forum has been a great help and while many of the solutions he suggested were not feasible, I still have one to try tomorrow, so hope that works. Thanks again. I like to do all my own repairs installations, because that way if something breaks when you are on tour, you know how to fix them on the road. Brian DJ
