Just wondering if anyone else is still waiting for there TRED Pro pre-order. I Placed and paid for mine in March for delivery April/May and am still waiting;
- 1x TRED Pro (Available April 2016) - New Gun Metal Grey for $246.75 each (set of 2)
- 1x TRED Pro Carry Bag (Available May 2016) - 1180 for $96.75 each
- 1x TRED Pro Mounting Bracket (Available May 2016) - TRED Pro Mounting Bracket for $74.25 each
I've contacted Tred (Sales & Marketing | Evolve Group) a few times and was told at start June that my order was listed for dispatch 17 June, but I'm still waiting.
The reason I'm posting this is that I cannot find any reference on the net about this pre-order, and there must be hundreds if not thousands of pre-order customers waiting.

That is a disgustingly long time. Especlally if you paid up front and in full.

Personally I would have asked for my money back by now. Did you happen to pay by Paypal? They are excellent at helping with late or missing deliveries.

You are a patient man Croaky. I hope they come through.

I'd be ringing them with a 'Please explain?"

yes, I probably should have rang, but have used email, as I figure email carries more weight as it a written record.
After another 2 emails since last week, they've now explained that it is the carry bag holding up my order and asked if I wanted the rest sent in the meantime, I replies Yes ASAP so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
In any case hopefully the brackets and extension pins I need to mount to vehicle and original set arrive next week.
BTW has anyone else got the new TRED Pro's, just wondering, I'm in Port Macquarie and no-one I know seem's to know about them including the stores?

No idea as I use Maxtrax.
Weren't the pros a crowd funded product?

yes I believe so, with backers paying upfront since last year. BTW; the reason I went with Treds over maxtrax is that tred have lifetime warrenty, if they crack or break you get a new one, where as I've heard maxtrak sometimes replace but it depends on customer story and condition of trak.

Maxtrax has a lifetime warranty but you have to be an idiot to break one. The only way is to wheel spin on the teeth and shear them off. If you are wheel spinning then your not coming out anyway...

If you are clever enough to grind down a tooth then you can buy aluminium teeth to repair them.

They turned up a few days ago, I've just got to wait for bag, due for dispatch 12 July, and figure out where / how to mount them with my set-up I cannot mount to roof racks as I have a rhino side loader, and because I intend to travel extensively for years I don't want to mount on rear spare, so hope I can mount them at rear of canopy roof just behind boat, on customer roof mounts (nothing I can find for SMM steel canopy).

They are excellent looking product and very strong, the proof will be in the pudding once they have been around for a while and tested by users, but at this stage despite the delay in delivery I am very happy and would recommend the TRED Pro tracks to prospective recovery track buyers, I think we will all find in time they will give the maxtrak a run for their money, they look better IMO.
