I'm breaking up my three week trip to the Sandy Blight Junction Track region by flying back to work for a week in the middle. I intend leaving the car in a safe place at Yulara (rather than covering it with sticks and branches out in the bush and hoping no-one finds it).

On Google Maps I note there is a caravan park called the Giles Street Caravan Park but I can't find a contact number.

Does anyone have either a contact number for Giles St or advice on where a car and trailer can be left?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Bob

I left my TVAN at the Caravn park for 4 weeks last year. Try ringing the resort for the phone number...

Adding they had security patrols through the CP at night. Very secure, they didn't charge me anything either, although I did stay for about 2 weeks in total after I returned.

Whatever you find it'll probably be all care and no responsibility only.

The number of the Ayers Rock Caravan Park, that's the main one, is 08 8957 7001 if that helps.

Possibly you could try the Camel farm. They seem to have lots of room there and maybe some space for a small fee? I imagine that would be a secure place to leave a vehicle.

It would only cost $216 to leave it on an unpowered site for 6 nights at Ayers Rock Resort.
