Travelled past Hatches Creek 8/10 days ago from north to south. Road in from Stuart Hwy via Kurindi Stn, Epenarra and Old Police Station Waterhole all good, but signs off recent rain. South of Hatches Creek 2/3 creek crossings, one deep but very solid bottom others fine, road again having some minor damage due to recent rain, but in servicable condition.Continued south using Binns Track and all good.
Must point out we don't tow, so that might change your perception of good or bad road. Murray

Thanks Murray, we are towing a camper trailer but not in a hurry so sounds ok. Most probably coming in from Murray Downs end. Did you do the frew creek loop?

Yes we did camped 3 nights at northern camp area. As signs say 2 hours for 17 kms and "no towing" but if you camp and go through it like 4 or 5 did while we were there alternatively (not recommending it) you could get into fisrt camp from Old Policemans. Did Murray Downs when northbound - before rain - road good
