Anybody recently been down this track from
Alice Springs to Mt Dare? We are in Alice at the moment and are considering going that way. We are travelling alone in a 100 series Landcruiser towing a Complete
Campsite Exodus 14 campertrailer.
We would appreciate any current information about the condition of the track.

Check thread 132774 for the latest info I've seen on here for a while, Yabbo, about that road. Member eighty matey travelled with us across the Simpson to Mt Dare, then up to Mac Clarke Reserve. We parted company there as they had commitments in the Alice etc.
They travelled up that road with no problems that I recall. Not sure about the weather in that area at the moment? Think there might be a bit of rain forecast over the next 4 or 5 days. It's had a few soakings, prior to and after our trip, so won't take much to keep things wet.
