Looking to see what fuel consumption people achieve with the v8 100 series cruiser.
If you own one would you please share the figures you achieve ??
Thankyou.

G'day Tim , as a guide only 14 / 100 , you can get better if driven
well & conditions are good.
Towing camper 18, 20 /100
Fuel consumption will be better if use bp98 etc
And depending on how u drive it
If towing large van
well into 20's /100
We work on as a rough guide 400ks main / ** & 200ks sub / 45 lts

Agree with Nick b,
Best ever 13ltr per 100kms
With bull bar, winch, roof rack, wheel carrier long range fuel tank and 33" tyres 16ltr per 100. (on road).
Off road 16 - 30 ltrs per 100 (that is real off road)
Towing a hard floor camper (1 tonne) 17/18 ltr per 100, then
off road up to 24ltrs per 100. A 2.5 van 19/22 per 100.

I'm afraid I can't understand, why someone would contemplate purchasing a 3 tonne, large capacity petrol-V8-powered, luxury 4WD - and then be concerned about fuel consumption??
If fuel consumption cost is a real worry, I'd suggest you start looking at something lighter, with a smaller capacity diesel as the power plant!
If you want to drag substantial weight around, and travel the country in pure luxury, then one of the penalties is, you have to pay for it!
Cheers, Ron.

Ron N,
I own one and totally agree, it's not a town car, tows occasionally, but is a great cruiser on and off road.
It returns the same similar of consumption as the 79 dual cab that I often drive which returns on a run at best 15 ltrs per 100 and 17/18 up the Cape.
