Any info on the water in Eyre Creek and the need to detour

Fred, there is no need to worry. No water in Eyre Creek and no need to detour. Dry as chips over here. Out there last week - great place to picnic. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike - didn't see any when I was out there the other day - but I was looking at birdies. Only 3 weeks to go. plenty of people coming out of the Simpson today (Sunday) and big mobs going in tomorrow - Qld School Holidays started. Yep, reckon the Desert sure is different - but it can change in a couple of days, specially the tops of the dunes. By the way, Michelle and David (and Baby Leah) from ExplorOz are here at the moment, they are envious that I get to meet some of the people from Forum (like Mal, the two M.A.L.S, Weddy and you etc. - hopefully not Goran tho - he scares me).
