Things have changed in the TV antenna market since the restack.

Because pretty much all areas will either be all channels on VHF band 3 or all channels on UHF band 4 ........ the whole aerial thing has got a lot simpler AND full sized aerials have got a lot smaller.

If you are only going to places where there is UHF that is outside of capitol cities.
You can stay with a dedicated UHF aerial ...... there are plenty of UHF cake rack style aerials out there.

They come in two sizes a 4 element and a 2 element ........ when they are new most of them work pretty much the same ......... the better quality ones will look and feel more durable.

Personally I'd use a Fracarro PU4AF ..... the Wisi EE06 is still the top shelf aerial in the type but ya may not want to pay for it.

If you are looking for Capitol city VHF my choice would be the Fricarro LP3F.

If you want a UHF VHF Combined my choice would be the Fricarro LP34F.

I have used all these aerials and have associates that hang em by the dozen
cheers

G'ay fence ,I have an Explorer RV C3 and I get all channels everywhere I go clear as crystal .It can be mounted Horizontally or Vertically depending on where you are .It comes as a full kit the only extra is a mounting pole .
