Friends were up there a couple of days ago with Prado towing a TVan, and reported no problems.

a couple of weeks back the track was a mixed bag. We had no real issues in the Troopy but some towing were going at a snails pace. track into
Middle Lagoon could definately do with a grade and the 2km or so of the huge whoopsy doos are annoying to say the least. In the main though just your typical rarely graded bush tracks.
Fantastic spot and if you have the time have morning tea or lunch or just a visit at Whale Song.
Cheers

I was at
Cape Leveque last week, 90k of the road is sandy dirt, no real problems though I was not towing.
Couple of soft
places but everyone rolled through OK, a few
places with very bad corros but overall a typical bush road.
I would not expect you to have any problems, just slow for the bad bits, they are not very long but there are a few of them.
Very pretty place
