Trek Comment: Owen Springs Reserve

The start point on the Details page appears to be incorrect. I think it should read Larapinta Drive, not Stuart Highway.

Kevin

I have noticed this in quite a few of the treks - plus starting point is same as finishing point

Hi Kev

Depending on which way you are starting. You can do it from either direction, and if following the track notes and want to do it in reverse, just start at the bottom and work up.

It is an easy drive and does nor matter which way want to start it from.

Cheers

To be more specific I am referring to the trek as it appears in EO Traveller. The trek runs between Stuart Highway in the south and Larapinta Drive in the north. But the address for the start and finish are identical. Can't be correct. That's all. No matter which way I drive it that will still be wrong. Don't know about how it appears in the Web site. That is not the issue.

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kevin

Sorry about that, I was not aware that you were refering to EO Traveller. There seems to be quite a few bugs in there ar the moment, have you let David know, so he can get it sorted?

Cheers

Thanks Stephen. I will do that later in the day if he has not picked it up from this thread.

Is it as cold down your way as it is here in Alice Springs? 2 yesterday and 3 this morning. Brrr!

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kevin

Very similar mornings down here in Clare at the moment.....but having said that when you live here all the time, that is not as cold as continual morning of well below zero....lol

The days have been real nice, in the high teens and one day a couple of weeks ago it was 22...just perfect.

It now looks like a change of season, all the blossom is now starting to add colour, the country is looking in top condition around here and that continuous rainy days have now stopped.

Keep Warm

Cheers

The directions were probably written by the same Irishman who said when asked directions to Dublin replied after some thought, " If I were going to Dublin I wouldn't be starting from here".
Oops, sorry not Friday.
