My question guys is; Can I enter GPS coordinates into these things rather than a physical address? I have a 2014 200 Series GXL and can't see how to do this. Some friends have given me lists of campsites of the must visit variety with only GPS references to locations. They all assure me that I can do it but none have told me how. Please help an old fella.

WIth respect why not ask them to show you if they know it can be done. Also usually the manual for the unit will describe how to enter stuff into it.
It is after all only an "Onroad" GPS so may or may not be useful 'Offroad" if thats where the campsites are.

A question on Lcool which is a Toyota guru forum may help you.

I specifically chose the garmin unit I have over the navman because the garmin had this feature and the navman did not. Best decision i even made.

I could do it on my 200.

It had to me in DD:mm:ss format.

You hit the more icon, or something like that You can enter by address, map or coordinates.

I have sold mine and don't have my new 200 yet so can't help more than that.

Thanks Boobook. I looked for "More" in the search menu and found exactly what I wanted. i.e Coordinates. I was originally looking in Settings.
