Oodnadatta Track – August 2016

For a few weeks prior to our intended departure date for this years outback trip, every road north of Marree was closed due to heavier than usual rainfall.

This looks to be a monumental effort, one you should be congradulated on. It shows the history of areas that many may not be able to travel to. It has also inspired me to write down some of the names you have mentioned to follow your route, and try a research some of the places mentioned. If it was not for your detailed blog, I would not have known about more exciting places to visit

Thanks for firstly taking the time to read the and and secondly taking your time to reply. This drive is packed with history and if you have the time to drive the Oodnadatta Track, you will be rewarded in another of Australia's great outback drives.
