Hi All,
How is the width and overhanging tree situation up to Mitchell Falls, Surveyors Pool and Port Wanderer.
We intend to take our Isuzu FTS800 Camper up there early next season. I'm not worried about washouts or road conds as it will put most 4wd vehicles to shame off road. Just curious about the physical size of the truck.

Gidday

Mitchell Falls is a stop on the 4x4 tour bus trail so no problems there I would think.

Don't know about the others.

Maybe one of the Broome based tour companies could help if you don't get another answer.

Great part of the world.

Cheers

Our experience may be a bit dated, but a couple of years go we had no trouble with a TVan to Mitchell Falls and there was a Quantum in there as well. However I wouldn't contemplate taking any trailer further into Surveyors Pool or Port Warrender.
Another option I noted is a lot of people left their vans at the King Edward River campground, which is a great camp spot anyway, and has plenty of space.
Cheers

The Isuzu will make it to all 3 places. Went to all 3 last year.

You will have no problems. Took full height Iveco Daily (bit smaller than FTS800) to Kalumburu towing 5 m boat this year no issues. In the past had pop top NPS300 in those places as well.
