I'm stagerred, its happened

Our beloved Equinox alias Alan has gone over to the dark side. He has, he has, errr has - I just can't say it, I just can't.

I'm just shattered at what he's done.

Equinox, words escape at what you've done.

You did it so you'll have to tell all and take the punishment which in my opinion you richly deserve.

Al finally bought himself an 80 litre Engel.
He's traveled all these years and has never owned a fridge.
Now he can have a cold beer and even Massie can have a bowl of cold water.

It's a staggering change and probably a reflection of Al's advancing age.

It's actually so big, Massie can use it as a kennel, especially on hot days.

Yes a fridge. Alan will now be able to visit the deserts with a fridge.

But David Carnegie would be rolling over in his grave and John Forrest would be having cardiac arrest at this news.

Alan, all jokes aside I'm so glad your advancing years have forced you to join the rest of us. Well done.

Listen to all you old fuddy duddies - it's nothing to do with age.
It's a deliberate ploy to stop you all talking behind my back lol..you'll have to talk about something else now.

If you're really nice I'll let you borrow one of my new cigarette lighter outlets that is being installed today :-)

Bloody hell!!!! What the....!! Nooooo!!! It can't be true?

Please tell me he's installed an auxiliary Battery with a reliable Redarc management system, and enough solar to power a small outback community!

This is going to prompt an entire rethink of his menu options.

MY GOD...cold coke for his Bourbon. The shock may kill him!

At least it will leave a lot of room inm our fridges now lol.

Wait till 'Outback Al' Kennedy finds out about this.

Hi Mick,
Redarc seemed to be the obvious choice.
I got BCDC1225
Solar Relay
97AH DC Battery
Anderson outlet back of ute for fridge
Anderson Solar input cab rack (havent got a panel yet)
2 ciggie lighters on cab wall rear of driver.

Do you know they don't make 12v microwaves? lol

Al just be a little wary of those cigarette outlets, they can be a bit unreliable, particularly on corrugated tracks with the plug vibrating loose.

A fridge???!!!!!!

And not just a pissy 35L Waeco...............

Oh no!..... A full 80L Engel

Len Beadell would turn in his grave. So would Connie Sue and Mick.

And yes, you CAN get 12 volt microwaves.

Connie Sue and Mick can't turn in their graves because they are not in them yet. Spoke with them at Eucla the other day and they were fit and healthy. Can't see Connie Sue and Mick getting a fridge anytime soon.
