Hi,
I am thinking of heading to
Moreton Island for a camping trip with the Mrs and the 2 kids over Chrissy and was wanting to know the best spots. Friends have advised
North Point campground is pretty good but I have seen this is pretty open so I suspect this would cop a lot of wind.
Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

Hi Adrian,
No particular
camp grounds in mind, but don't overlook camping on the western side of the island.
The wind is usually a lot lighter, the water is calm for swimming for the kids, the sunsets over the water are great for those of us who live on the east coast.
The surf beaches are a please try drive away, and it is usually less crowded.
