It appears a whole bunch of tracks due to open on 27/10/16 will not open on schedule due to weather issues. Dargo High Plains Rd being the first that effects our trip. We'll come in via Birregun Rd., Dinner Plain Track is saturated with snow and rain predicted next week.
Anyone heading into the Wonnangatta Valley via Dargo may need a boat. Is there alternate tracks in that are hopefully open? Zeka maybe?

Any local knowledge would be gratefully appreciated

Cheers

Hi Pete, that was a given but thanks anyway. We were looking for any local advice over the weekend. Just hoping someone may have known. Vic Parks chat when they are back.

I've was up around Omeo last week. I've never seen river and lake levels so high and blokes with going on half a century up there say the same.

Pot holes were full too and the ground soft.

Thanks again Sigmund, yeah it appears thats the way its going to be. Plan B activated and fishing gear packed (Salt)
More snow and rain next week will keep the creeks up.

As a famous Australian once said; "Such is life"
