Upload error - internal server error

Hi all
I'm trying to upload four pictures for a post - one seems to work ok - the other three give me this "upload error". Each image is about 350kb .JPG. Am I doing something wrong? I would like to be able to post a short paragraph of text followed by 4 images.
Help appreciated.

Testing loading four photos dimensions 1024 x 768 and a fifth one large size 2789 KB. It seems to work for me. Maybe a temporary glitch?

Damn and blast
Thanks Motherhen. Just tried it on a different computer - same result. I get one image to save only. Interestingly (perhaps) the only image I can get to load is one I took with my phone - the others were taken with my camera and the all give the same error message.
